Feeding Dish

I recently purchased http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/worm_dish.php
the largest one available to make it easier for my Leos to feed as I was sick of worms burying themselves in substrate but none of my Leos will touch any of the worms within the dishes is this usual or is it only me as ive seen a few Leos eat out of dishes

Nightly I put in crickets and mealworms and by morning all the crickets are gone but no more than 1 mealworm is usually missing, figured they would like the ease of eating worms out of a dish over hunting crickets

Put the dish near their favorite hide entrances; they'll see the food moving when they walk in and out of their hides. If you don't want the crickets to jump out, pull off the back legs.

the crickets roaming about are fine they always get them but they never touch any of the mealworms in the dish but will eat them if I let them roam the cage but any uneaten mealworms within minutes get below the substrate. Crickets are of no worry to me

Some of mine, from the bowl....
Built up level to top of dish to rest on.
Seems to work for most.
Take care. Hj

Beautiful gecko and interesting idea, HJ! How do you make sure the top ledge doesn't collapse or tip with their weight?
