So, I took my girl to the vet and he said she looked really good, short of being a little light and not having much tail fat. The only reasons he could think of her not eating was environmental and dehydration. He asked that I put her in water once a day and said that I should heat up an egg so that the whites get cloudy and give it to her in small parts so that her stomach acids will start to build and make her hungry. I guess if geckos go too long without food their hunger system just shuts down and they don't eat.
So, since I didn't think to ask.... has anyone done that with an egg before, if so how did you cook it?
Any other ideas? I am keeping her hide rock that she didn't want to ever come out of... out of the cage (also his suggestion, but I had planned on it regardless).
Any suggestions beyond the above would be helpful! I got some pictures of her today.
