feeding gecko house spiders?

I have arachnophobia, if I see spiders in my house I try to kill them or put them outside.

Can I catch them can I feed them to my leopard gecko? Will he eat spiders? Or will the venom in the spiders make him sick?

I live in NY and the only deadly spiders we have are black widows but I wouldn't feed gecko one of those.

feeding outside bugs to your leo runs a high risk of disease and some insects are poisonous so best not too IMO.

i wouldnt.
just the fact that you cant gutload a spider or see what its eaten previously..
well ya never know.
maybe the spider got into someones ant poison and just hasnt died yet.
id stick to catching the spiders and putting them outside.
