Feeding Question?

Okay, so here is the back story. My friend (who breeds Leo's) has like 12 of them, and he said he would give me two classic Leo's plus others stuff for free. I really want to take him up on his offer, but I have had cricket eating animals before and crickets cost a lot, and they stink. My friend said that they can survive solely on mealworms and occasionally waxworms, but I've done research and kinda found mixed answers. So here is my question. Can the Leo's survive on only mealworms or do they need crickets too?

They can, yes, but make sure you gut load and dust. Also look into Super Worms

Depending on how big they are, you can adjust their diet to either a mealworm or a superworm. Like lepo said, lots of dusting and gut-loading needed. You could also offer a pinky like once a month if they like it.

You gutload them a day or two before feeding them. I keep most of my mealworms in the fridge and take them out a couple thousand at a time and stick them in gutload tell I feed them off.

No, they have a tougher exoskeleton than mealworms that's why they're suited for adults more.

Good thing crickets are cheap here. Sometimes even free lol. Dubias are way too expensive here, my God haha

Superworms are meatier than mealworms, though. I also crush their heads to prevent any bites. They are very feisty!

Crickets are expensive from Pet Co. I never buy from there. I buy them at a local reptile shop for $1 per 20 (and 20 usually means 30-50, depending on who's working).

Do you have false death heads or discoid rouches around? One of my girls loves them. She eats anything, though... Lol
