Feeding roaches to a large gecko collection?!?!

Hello.

Would like some advice from those breeders/keepers who have a collection size of 100-500 geckos (Leopards/Fat Tails). As you know when hatchlings come along the collection size increases. Other than that, there will be about 100-300 permanent residents.

I would like to ALWAYS have extra roaches just in case. The reason being I would never know what my collection size would be, that is why I gave such a wide range from 100-500 geckos...

My question is, what species do you keep or what species do you recommend? Obviously they have to be non-climber, non-flying, fast breeders, etc...

I would like to read your views on this topic.

Yes, I'm attempting to create an FAQ thread about breeding the lateralis roach, but it keeps getting bumped further down. It would serve as a most useful tool for those looking for more information on making a colony. Perhaps you may be able to shed some light on it?
