Feeding roaches to a large gecko collection?!?!

Hello.

Would like some advice from those breeders/keepers who have a collection size of 100-500 geckos (Leopards/Fat Tails). As you know when hatchlings come along the collection size increases. Other than that, there will be about 100-300 permanent residents.

I would like to ALWAYS have extra roaches just in case. The reason being I would never know what my collection size would be, that is why I gave such a wide range from 100-500 geckos...

My question is, what species do you keep or what species do you recommend? Obviously they have to be non-climber, non-flying, fast breeders, etc...

I would like to read your views on this topic.

Regards!

Lateralis roaches meet your criteria, and have a size range similar to crickets.

Yes, I'm attempting to create an FAQ thread about breeding the lateralis roach, but it keeps getting bumped further down. It would serve as a most useful tool for those looking for more information on making a colony. Perhaps you may be able to shed some light on it? :)
