feeding roaches

I have had roaches for about a week now and I see no decrease in the amount of food or water crystals that I supply to them.

I use dog food and oatmeal grinded into powder. They don't touch it. Same goes for the water crystals untouched. I even gave a fresh orange when I got them which they didn't touch.

My temps in the room are mid 70's to mid 80's and the temps in part of the roach bin are mid 80's to mid 90's

I have 250 Small Dubia in one bin with an oatmeal size lid for the water crystals and ground up food.

I have 4 females and 3 males in the excat same type setup by them self so I can see if they breed for me.

I would have thought that they would eat alot or at least but a nice dent in the amount I gave them. In both bins they seem to stay under the egg creats all the time.
