depends on the size/age of your gecko. Hatchings and juveniles really need fed every day to keep them growing properly where as adults can be fed 2-3 times a week. remeber supplementation is also important.

as mines is only around 6 months he's getting 5 or so medium crickets a day and 4 or 5 mealworms left in his dish to eat at his leisure

The more you ask the more you learn:main_thumbsup:. Feeding should be done in the evening of course, when there up and alert. And what you just described is one way you can do it, different feeder each day. I personally purchase silkworms to last me 6 days each week, feed them off and toss in other feeders here and there like crickets, hornworms, phoenixworms(if I ordered).

how do you guys feel about dubias roaches as a stable? i personally despise crickets, the cost and the smell. i mean i don't mind running to the store every now and then to buy some like once a week just so he has some variety every week.

alot of people on this forum us dubias as a staple:main_thumbsup:. There illegal for me to own where I'm from, but I would def. give them a try. They pack protein. Try to give as much variety as you can in your leos diet.
