My gecko is only 1 1/2 months old. I put 10 in her dish every morning and they are all usually gone the next morning.

Very nice. Dont be surprised if she stops eating for a few days. It is normal. From the stress of being moved to a new home. Good luck.

Im having a hard time with mine as well. The theroy is to place your hand palm up in front of her and allow her to smell and lick it. Eventually she will becone comfortable and walk onto your hand. Never grab her tail. And if you have to grab her to pick her up it causes stress. So try to avoid.

With mine I let them get used to me putting my hand in there to feed them and change their paper towels and once they got used to that without hissing I would put my hand near them and eventually they got used to my hand and would allow me to pick them up to check them. I dont handle them daily and usually I just handle them to check for any stuck shed and make sure they are healthy. 2 of mine are calm while handling but my baby still likes to hiss and bark sometimes so it depends on the gecko how long it takes them to get used to you.

I give babies all they care to eat. I leave 20 small meal worsm in overnight and clear out what's leftover in the morning. When they reach juvy, I give them 10 large each night. My adults get 15 large every other night and there's usually some left over.

I've said this is other threads, but hey, this is exactly the topic.
I feed Neara 4-5 medium-large mealworms dusted with vitamin powder everyday. Sometimes I will do 7 or 8, but no more then that.
I feed my new baby 3-4 small-medium mealworms also dusted with vitamin powder everyday. I don't want to over-feed him/her.
