Feeding times

for a small gecko, i would give them as many crickets as it wants to eat in about 10 minutes, every day. for an adult, same thing but 3 or 4 times a week. also leave a bowl of mealworms in there constantly, topping it off as needed.

there are many opinions on how to feed. this is mine.

I feed 6-8 mealies a day to my juveniles and 4-6 to my adults, if i notice the adults are getting too large I cut it back but they eat pretty well each night.

I feed only in the evenings though.

When you guys say you leave a bowl of mealies, are they live? And you really feed it as much as it wants? I feed my gecko anywhere between 3 and 5 crickets everynight. I think If I were to let him, he would eat until he popped.

He does get excited when he sees shadows, and watches me like im a piece of food at times. He likes being handled, hes not mean at all. Should I be feeding him more?

I do also. My leo will eat anywhere between 6 and 15 mealies a night. She used to eat about 6 crickets a night, and that has gone down to about 2.

My leo Gumdrop eats about 4-5 mealies in the nighttime. Handfed, because she's a priss. Lol
