i dont see where it will hurt the gecko to eat waxies for a few weeks until she is healthy again.

btw what is wrong with the gecko, did you take her to the vet?

what was she diagnosed with?

the waxies are VERY high in fat content however, so i wouldnt just feed straight waxies. maybe a few waxies every other day and crix since she eats them. if shes sick make sure your dusting your feeders with vit. supplement and giving calcium in a dish.

good luck

she could just be stressed, is she still gravid? or laying?

few hours after one of my girls lays, she hungry as hell, but few days before she lays she wont touch anything.

That's a good idea, John! I've never thought of that.....:main_rolleyes: lol

Thanks :D I have loads of small bits of info like that lol. I learn it from reading alot of reptile stuff and helping Joe with his Reptile Rescue. I just took the snake version and modified it for leopard geckos. It works good for when they want to be picky eaters and to fatten them up. I go to Joe's to play with the snakes because I am not allowed snakes lol. Going there Tuesday. I need to take a few pics while I am there.
