i have a female that has recently started to bite my male. She leavesthe females alone and will almost pursue the male then bite him and try to not let go. can this be due to breeding or is it something else. thanks for your advice

There is another post entitled Females not breeding, Marcia Started it. Go check it out it discusses the same problem you are currently having. I am having similar problems as well, I think a bunch of people are this year. Good luck.

Maybe it's just the female? We have one that is VERY aggressive. She seemed to do okay being housed with other geckos for awhile, but I seperated her because I noticed some "battle scars" on both the other geckos. She is now in a bin, and everytime I am near it, she sees me and rams her head into the plastic.. she is really just mean, I think. She's all bark and no bite though, she just lunges at me with her mouth open, never actually tries to bite :main_rolleyes:

Biting, doesn't want to let go.
Positive it's a female? I have a SS female that I think has a Mother's going to guard the eggs attitude at this time......She rushes the glass when the cat or I come by.....while striking at it.
I would not put her with anything while she displays this. Hope you have another place that's private for her. Take care. / HJ
