So today I fed my leopard geckos again. Normally they eat pretty steadily, and the past couple of weeks they've been a little slow, but that all changed today. My female was ouit in front of the warm cave/hide, waiting for food presumably. I was excited because I thought she was catching on! Anyways, I drop some worms in, and she flings herself at them furiously. I've never seen this before! I pull out my male and try and feed him, but he doesn't touch his food, so I figure I'll just try tomarrow morning. What could cause this? I haven't changed anything except the temp. is probably a bit higher. It's not a bad thing, but I wonder if my female is storing up food for eggs or something. I need to get that under tank heater so I can split them up.
P.S. - My tanks is about 82-83 on the coolside. Is this too high? My two leopard geckos both hang around in the warm hide, and never touch the cool, could this be a problem?
