Female Gettin Tuff?

When i introduce my male to the female she seems to puff up. She stands high on her legs but doesnt bite. What does this meen. Thanks

My guess is she is not ovulating. A female will not allow a male to breed her if she is not ovulating. Of course I could be wrong so someone please correct me if Iam.

I'm with Jenn...I'd venture to guess she's not ovulating, and therefore not receptive to the male.

I have females that will breed even when they are not ovulating but then I have some that won't breed unless they are ovulating.
