One of my Enigma females have such a behavior that I can't explain. When she was ovulating for the first time, I introduced her to one of my males. They did what needs to be done and I took the male out. 6 weeks later she laid her first clutch, from where I got 2 black holes babies. Then I was waiting for her second clutch and nothing happened for a period of 6 weeks. I examined her and she was ovulating but no eggs so I introduced the same male again, they copulate again and 4 weeks later 2nd clutch.

Then I was like a cycle the only way she will laid is if I have the male all the time with her. After 4 clutches I just took the male out and I continued examining her for a period of 4 months and she was still ovulating. This time a put her with another male to see what happened so she laid again but this time I was 100% sure that those babies were from the new male and not from the first because of the morphs that I was getting.

Here is the thing after getting at least 2 more clutches from her and this new male I just gave her a 4 month break and she was still ovulating but not producing a complete egg. I can see the red dot underneath her during all this time. Now I want to use her with another male but don't want to mess with the genetics.

Have somebody had this problem before????
