Female Leo kicking around coconut coir

So for the past couple of weeks or so, my female Leo has been kicking her coconut coir with her back legs in a backward motion in her tank. Her tank it made up 2/3 slate with the other being coconut. She also has a moist hide that she hasn't been useing lately, but otherwise pratically lives in the thing. I picked her up from a reptile show the beggining of this year and am pretty sure she is not pregnant. Given that she is not, would she still be kicking this stuff around to "lay" eggs that she never will?

They can lay infertile eggs. They don't have to have mated with a male to do so. Usually they absorb the infertile eggs, but some do lay them.

Do you think she's most likely to lay rather than absorbing due to her looking like she wants to lay?

Most likely. All of my females start flinging their coir everywhere about 3 or 4 days before they lay.
