Today I checked my breeder tank to find one of my females with a few very small wounds on her neck and side of stomach is places usually associated with where the male grabs before attempting to breed could a male actually leave those marks when attempting to breed as I have never seen wounds on a female after a male has bit to attempt to breed the wounds look like a tip of a pen in size looks like just the top of the skin is damaged no deep flesh or anything

What do you consider surface scrapes?

What may be a surface scrape to you - could be considered a gouge to others.

Pics would be helpful but only a herp vet seeing your Leo in person should be able to determine treatment (IF - that herp Vet is experianced and knows what they are doing/talking about)

Give us a pic.i let my breeders heal on their own.keep the enclosure clean and on the next shed it will start to heal.If its just a surface scrape then IMO a vet appt isnt necessary.Keep an eye on it and if anything unusual shows up then take action
