Female won't breed.

I have a large female leo that has been with a proven breeder male for several months. I know that male is excited about her and has tried to breed with her, but every time he does, she turns him away. I think he has finally given up. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
I have attached a picture of her too.

Thanks,
Carin

I have tried seperating them and then reintroduced her again. The male got excited all over again, but she still wouldn't mate. She is the only adult female that I have who wants nothing to do with my male.
I have not seen her ovulate, but all my other females have already layed eggs.

That was joke...but I just read in another post that some females are very picky with which male they breed with. So maybe she is a picky breeder? Try another male.

Either that or just leave them together for longer. Some females say no, but with more persisting, say yes ;) Do make sure she's ovulating, though. If she's not, that could be the problem

edit:

I've heard of females not ovulating for years sometimes.. wait until she is ovulating, she's not ready yet :)
