I woke up just now to an egg my Pumpkin has laid in her lay box. Upon candling, I discovered the egg's bulls-eye fertility indicator was facing downwards. All my other eggs in the past have always had the bulls-eye facing up (granted I haven't had a lot of eggs).

This is okay, right? I know that usually they face up but I think I remember reading on the forums that it's alright for them to face any direction - the embryo can attach anywhere, and it's best to leave them facing whichever way they were laid.

I placed the egg as-is in my incubator. Gotta get going to the new job - oh, hah she just laid the second one... bulls-eye up even. Go Pumpkin!
