1. my head is killing me because my allerges are going nuts with spring here and everything in bloom.
2. all the sites going down today.
3. the twit that does my payroll fucked up 14 people's paychecks.
4. And this one just fucking really pisses me off the most because this has to do with family.....
I get a call from my dad and he leaves me a vm that he just had a blow out with his sister, not actually the name he called her.
All this started about 4 years ago, my dad gives my aunt a train set that he got as a kid and a china set that was my parents when they were married. He gave them to her to give to me when I got there that summer to bring them back home with me. Well she never mentioned it and my father never even told me they were there. About a month after I got home he asked me if the trains brought back memories, since I got to play with them as a kid each Christmas. I then told him I knew nothing about the trains. Each year I went down there I forgot about it and really didn't even want to get into it with my aunt because I knew something was up. Sure enough my cousins, her daughters came up last summer to help me out and one mentioned the family train set. Which got me asking questions. Sure enough this is the train set that is mine to give too my son that was my dad's. So I mention this to my dad last month when he asked me if I could fit them in my van, I couldn't but asked if he would take them back to his house and I would get them when I can.
Back up a bit because other things have been going on.... My grandparents live with my aunt, my grandma on hospice care and my grandfather with alzhimers. They sold their house that was paid off about 6 years ago and have been living with her in a inlaw type suite. My aunt and her husband have been taking and taking and taking anything the can get my grandparents to give them, including $40k in cash just before my grandma got sick this last time. The cousins are all calling dibs on things in my grandparents suite for when they die??? What the fuck??? Funny thing is most of the things they are wanting are not even my grandparents' but my dad's that he has taken over to the house for them to use to live more comfortably without having to spend money.
Fastforward today. My dad confronts my aunt about the train set and the china and my aunt's reply??? "She doesn't want those items besides they should stay in the family." Again, What the Fuck??? She's so lucky I've not called there yet. First off those items are my dad's and my parents to give to me, yes I want them, who the fuck is she to think she is more family than I am, just because I live 1,000 miles away? She's even trying to get her grubby hands on the land my dad has in Idaho.
