ive had my gecko since september of 2010 when should he be full grown?
and im using a walnut type of substrate thats ok for them if they do eat it, since its just walnuts , is that ok??

and he is dark yellow on his body and his tail is like orange kinda purple colour, what type of morph is this?

sounds like a murphys patternless by the description. but why on earth would you put ANY reptile on crushed walnut? think about how sharp the edges are and what they would do to their insides if ingested. i would get him off that immediately. go with paper towels, butchers paper, or tiles like dennis said.

Man where do companies come up with all these weird substrates.... I personally put my geckos on ground up broken glass chips, it makes them all shiny when they roll around in it!

LMAO, this made my day.

And as for the crushed walnut you are using, very bad idea. Have you kept him on this the whole time you've had him? There are lots of posts on here about good substrates to use. I personally use brown paper lawn bag.
