I have a pair of leos which i have difficulty breedin, they are of proper age and size. I tried breeding them on several ocassions but only ended up with bite marks on my female tail. I tried putting the male in her enclosure, female into male enclosure and also the both into a new enclosure for breeding. For each attempt i would allow them to rest for least a week.
Could being a first time breeder cause all the anxiety in the female, she doesnt seem keen to breed. I have tried 2 other males on her previously ( once only) but with the same conclusion. Could she be a hot gecko or she jus needs more time.
Meanwhile will it be alrite to apply vaseline on her bite marks.
