I have 4 adult Leo's that I adopted from a friend who didn't want them anymore. I have had them for 2 months and just recently they stared to fight sometimes when they are feeding. Not sure if this is normal. They don't fight long, more like " hey I want to eat too get out of my way". I feed them meal worms 3 days a week. Should I feed them every other day maybe? Just not sure if a little fighting over food is normal.

They have been together for 2 years, my friend bought them all at the same time. There are 3 females and 1 male. They are maybe 3 or 4 years old. I have them in a 40 gal tank they where in 20. They are all about the same size 2 are a bit smaller one of witch is the male.

Other than feeding time they dont fight at all. The feeding bowl is about 3 1/2 in. in dia.

If using more than one feeding dish doesn't work, try separating when it is feeding time. That might be the only way.
But if you do the 4 separate food bowls, make sure you put them down fast in front of each one so they are already occupied with trying to eat.
Good luck!

It's natural for them to become defensive about food. Like most animals.
Sometimes the fight when they see food, because they are not fed enough so it's like food scarcity
