So what seemed like it was taking forever, actually came sooner than expected! I got home from work this evening, and checked some of the lay boxes for eggs, and I got a couple eggs laid tonight, so I went to put them in the incubator, and what do I see...?!?! A little baby just starting to hatch! At exactly day 40, too! This egg was laid on 4/5, and from my Enigma het Raptor (Zeus) x Sunglow 66% het Raptor (Fuego).

"He" was incubated at 90 degrees for male, so we'll just call it a "he" for now.

Assuming that my Sunglow proves out to be het for Raptor (only her 1st egg from her 1st clutch, so can't tell yet... we'll see what the clutchmate is when it hatches!), he will either be a BEE het Tremper (too early to tell this yet, as he is only about 30 mins old, so we'll see how the eyes look in a couple weeks or so!) or a Tang Enigma het Tremper, 66% het Eclipse.

Enjoy!

Well, it's out now. Not an albino afterall. The head had no black on it, n just looked pink, so i thought it was when I first saw it poppin out.

It's clutchmate is just a normal tang, but has a little bit of a partial looking stripe that goes down to a little past it's shoulders.

So far, the Sunglow mom has yet to be proven het for Raptor, but this is only the 1st clutch, so time will tell!

Both look enigma to me...super hypo enigma anyone else think so??

On 2nd thought, I retract my previous statment. I agree, Enigma aswell. Did a little bit more of a thorough look of her, and the spotting seems to be random "blotches" aswell. And I looked at the eyes with a led loupe, and they are Enigma eyes.
