Finally! First Rafe baby!!!

I was so excited to see this one hatch today. The other egg went bad about a week ago, so I was worried. This was from Rafe x Rosemary. Not the best pics, but I think she's really nice. Can't wait for the first shed. I think she looks brighter in person, almost like a raptor hatchling color.

Rafe is an Eclipse 66% het Tremper. Rosemary is an Aptor het Raptor.

so out of this you'll either get a raptor (doubtedly due to some pigment in the skin already ) or an aptor/eclipse (looks black so far) right? love the snake eyed male though

If Rafe proves out to be 100% het Tremper, I should get some Raptors and various trempers plus eclipses and hets. This baby is an eclipse het tremper. You can see the black eyes and some black on the face/head. I have bred Rafe to two tremper girls so far to see if we can prove if he's het tremper or not.

Look on the bright side. You've proved that the female is het Eclipse/RAPTOr, otherwise you wouldn't have gotten the Eclipse hatchling. Good Luck proving the Male's albino gene! :main_thumbsup: Congrats on that nice Eclipse too!

Thanks! I actually proved Rosemary out last year. She gave me quite a few Raptors with Rafe's dad, Damien.

I am thrilled to have this little eclipse. They are my favorite and I've been dying to start hatching them again this year. I have two eggs from Rafe x Claudia that should be hatching soon, too.

they're all sweet looking, definitely a nice hatchling . pairents aren't too shabby either rafe almost looks albino himself very little dark pigment for a non albino. cool
