So about a month ago i bought a male to start my breeding program and then everyone else decides to get various injuries :main_angry: My patternless just got injured recently i don't know if she shed too soon or got into a fight while shedding but on her left front leg there are rather large patches where the skin is torn completely off and muscle and other tissue is showing :main_no: so i did what every vet would tell me to do and put some neosporin on it and let it heal. and one of my Hypos got bit on the end of the tail and ended up losing part of her tail after an infection. and then there is my oldest hypo who just got over a bad case of mouthrot anyone else had this hard of a time starting out?

Man, you are getting your share. I can relate to some bad gecko times. Do you have all the girls in the same housing? Adding the male there too?

the male is still being quarantined and the females were all except for the one with mouthrot and the patternless they were together.

how long did yours take to get over mouthrot?? Mine got it from a dragon i had(i have no clue how, they never came into contact) and he has had it for a while now. I brought him to the vet and he is on meds. Hes got about 2 doses left but he doesnt seem to be getting any better.

Sorry that was off topic

I had some hard times with my leopard geckos. Everyone gets hit with some hard times but to me the joy of having leopard geckos and seeing hatchlings in the incubator and watching them grow and change is well worth it.

mine has had mouthrot for a few weeks but the vet just told me to use neosporin for most stuff like that

Hard times are bound to happen, and they will happen when you least expect it, that's for sure! I'm sorry to hear about all of the problems you've had, but at least once you fall so far, there's only one way to go - back up :) You'll be in our thoughts, and we hope things start looking up for you soon!

ouch... Sorry about that. I'm sure you will get them healthly again, and then you can breed them. I wish you luck.
