..Dubia Roaches!

I've been putting a dish of meal worms in her tank for a few weeks now and she refused to acknowledge them. I got some Wax worms just to try to kick start some eating, she ate one seemed content. Soo then I got some Dubia Roaches the other day and decided to see if she would bite. She Instantly saw the little bugger and dove right in! She ended up eating 2 right off the bat no problem. So excited thats her favorite food, as they are the healthiest to feed. She is 50% possible giant so hopefully she will beef up nice now:D

Here's a pic of her, wish I got one of her eating but it was so quick!

thats great! i think im going to pick up some dubias at the next expo here in May! they sell them there for like 50 cents for each adult male and 75 for a female! do you raise your own, or do you just by them as needed? and pretty gecko btw!

I picked up 10 at my local pet store. Wanted to test them out, my other leo likes them too! So I am definitely thinking about breeding some. Theres actually a local ad on craigslist of a set up already with a ton of them in a big plastic bin for $25 may pick it up.

Question: How often do you feed your gecko's them? I heard someone say they fed them 3 roaches and they were good for a week. I was feeding mealies every other day for my 9 month old and is already a beef cake haha.

Thank you very much! I really love the orange coloring. Her personality is great too, she's really shy but when I take her out and she just lays down on my arm and soaks up the warmth. I can only imagine how calm she will be when she gets older.
