Nice today so I finally got around to taking a couple of pics. Thought this little girl was kinda cool looking. She is almost a lavender gray color. I have had others hatch out about that color, but she has stayed that way longer than any others I have had. It will be interesting to see how she grows. I know they aren't very good pics, but you can get an idea anyway. The other gecko is a keeper because she is het Tremper.

She isn't very old. About 3 weeks or so I think, but she is growing like a weed. I still haven't produced an Albino Gem Snow. I have gotten snows and albinos from that group, but still haven't combined the two genes. I am starting to feel like I did when I was trying to make Tremper Blazing Blizzards. It took me a while to do that too.

Wow, well she is very nice, and good luck on combining the two genes, I am ready to see one, and I am not near that point myself, but do have some plans for the Gems thats for sure.

When I first saw her in the incubator, I thought at first she was an albino, but she had dark eyes. I will keep my fingers crossed that I don't wake up one morning, and her looks turn to crap. We will see.

Cool geckos!

I thought it was an Albino Gem too. The eyes would be darker from lower incubation temps, if it were a Tremper, and that is what I guessed it was aslo. Hehe

Well, I guess it could be the first albino Gem. But I am just used to most of my Trempers coming out with nice pink eyes. I still have about 10 or so eggs from my albino Gem project group in the incubator, so I still have some more chances.

Hey Jim...good to see the pics. I'd say albino gem by the looks of it...but seeing as that'd be the first...who knows! I've seen some really dark eyes on Tremper females also. Congrats either way...but since the pattern's not breaking up and no dark spots are coming in yet I'm really hoping you got an albino there.

The more I look at her, and the more I think about it, I am pretty well convinced she is albino. The similarity to the color of some of my hypo Gems threw me off. A person on another forum was asking my about her eyes, so I took a couple of pics a few minutes ago. I know they aren't the best pics.

Though the eyes don't "LOOK" albino, I too think you may have the first ALBINO GEM SNOW! What temp was she incubated at? Maybe the low temp gave her Dark red eyes like some trempers get from low temps?
