finally ovulating but no breeding

My sh het bell is finally finally ovulating but she's being a wench and just brutalizing our bell male. ? what crawled up her bum-last year she bred just fine and this year, geez. I think we've tried everything and she's just not receptive. I guess we should be happy with our stripes breeding, but no hatchlings yet so....

I have had that happen it's kinda funny though when the females even ovulating don't want any LOL..Gecko's sexual lives sometimes show their sign of a human side..LOL

im haveing a simular problem as some know. Ive had the suggestions of Barry white music, roses, and a ring..lol sux i know but its kinda funny. Im feeling pretty bad for the male...Mabey the start of that windy city blue if you know what im sayin lol

how do you know if she is ovulating. Like what are signs to look for. Do i turn her up side down and look at the belly...lol i have never seen my female ovulating. They just do it on there own. I just want to know what im looking at ????

Do a search for "ovulating". There are pics that show a pink area about the middle of the belly, this means she's ovulating.


I was having some difficulty too. I took the male out for about 2-3 days put him back in and turned on the "red light" :main_thumbsup: . He got his last night. :main_laugh: Try to seperate them and then re-introduce.
