Hi guys! I wanna show yall my collection, as I finally managed to get together a little backdrop and dig up my camera. Warning - this thread is extremely photo heavy!
This is Imber (Hypo Carrot Tail), the first leopard gecko I got as a birthday gift like 9 years ago - she's 10 years old.
Dodger (Normal), the second leopard gecko I got, 7 years old. She used to be roomies with Imber for a few years but they're both a lot happier in different tanks now that they're older. She's my tiniest adult, but definitely the most personable - everytime I open up her tub, she comes running out of her hidebox to say hello! She likes nose rubs, haha.
Cooper (Super Snow), my biggest leo, 4 years old. He's super heavy and a ravenous eater. The other day I watched him try to get some shed skin off his butt and he ended up rolling over onto his face - it was good times. He's quite silly.
Esper (Hypo Mack Snow), almost as big/heavy as Cooper, also 4 years old - I got her with Cooper and finally paired them. Last night/today she's been tearing the paper towel in her tub to shreds, so I wonder if she's been digging? She also has a nice hide with moist vermiculite in it, so. IDEK. She's my supes beautiful girl because I love her brown spots.
Nima (Hypo TUG Snow), 1 year old, whom I received for free because she previously had a very large growth behind her vent. I took her to the vet and she had surgery to have it removed, but the vet said she's a he, but I've been looking and been seeing no pores or anything so... also she has this massive kink in her tail haha. Anyways, she's made a full recovery and I'm just working on bringing her weight up again.
These guys I just received today from The Urban Gecko:
This is Vesper (Super Snow Tremper Albino) - less than a year old. I've always wanted this morph, and she's a total darling; a little skittish, but she did manage to sit still for photos. I adore her!
Wilder (TUG Snow), also less than a year old. Her name is surprisingly fitting, considering I picked it before she got here. When I went to check on her earlier, she lunged a few inches off the ground and tried to bite at me which kinda scared the crap out of me hahaha. She was really nice for the photos too though.
Parker, one of the normals I ordered (both are less than a year old). Though when I got him I was really surprised to see he's a lot... yellower than I'd hoped for a normal. Still, I love the orange glow around his head spots. He's a total doll. <3
And Fletcher, the other normal I ordered. Still a little less spotty than I was hoping, but what kind of normal would you expect from a batch of morph rejects?
She was very well behaved and extremely photogenic, I almost wanna say she's a mini-Dodger in the making.
So those are my little leopard gecko friends! I'm keen on breeding them (with the exception of Imber, and maybe Dodger), I've been working with Esper and Cooper and I'm super excited to see what they produce. I'm also working towards setting up some better backdrops so I can take some nicer, if not a little more professional looking, photos... haha.
