B. auratum? If so, we had one too. Ours turned out to be male, so I sold him so he could "have some fun" :D . Those are one of the nicest of the Brachypelmas, IMO. Awesome! :main_thumbsup:

thanks guys. yeah maurice its a red knee. buddy is a male, we just found out, but were not ganna sell him. im ganna get a female next year and make an attempt at breeding them just for the fun of it.

Ooops! I guess in that case, I I.D.'d that one wrong. That would be a Brachypelma smithii. I often confuse those two species. Still though, very nice! Good Luck breeding! They can certainly be a challenge. You do know how many "slings" you're in for, right? :D

thanks again everyone. K ill be fine getting a female, ill probably even get one next weekend at hamburg. and maurice, thats kinda my fault also, i dont know the sci. names at all, and that looked familiar, as far as the amount of babies.... ill have a friend help me throught it. hes pretty big, and ive never seen a bigger collection than his. his name is tommy Agosta, from 8 legged plus. ever hear of him?
