Finally some recognition!

Found out today I'll be leading a team later this week for a few special operations consisting of state and federal law enforcement officers as well as inspectors. Should be really interesting. Nice to do something outside of normal operations.

On the downside, I haven't had a day off in over a week now and don't anticipate getting one for at least two more weeks.


How's that for a rant and rave? More later, after operations have completed I should be able to discuss some details.

Steve , you work for the TSA correct. That sounds like a pretty cool job, though I bet it has it's moments Glad to here you're getting recognition for your efforts! Sure hope you can get a day off some day and you and the little lady can contact me and we can get together and talk reptiles, tattoos and whatever else. I am only 10 minutes from flemington

Yes I work for TSA. I'll give you more specifics and some anecdotes in person, can't really share them online for the world to see! My job is pretty cool, but only really because I'm detailed to a specific part of the agency. I'm looking to make a move, career wise, so this opportunity is only going to serve to improve my resume.

I might actually make my way over there on tuesday night and hang around wednesday... I'm on the clock both days but will be free most of wednesday since it's a travel day (I'm moving from one airport to another for the past/next several weeks) but I am not traveling far.

Oh and you know that wasn't really a picture of me in the tattoo thread, right? But talking shop and BSing is always my idea of a good time.

Sure I knew that wasn't you, but I can play the game too People with facial tattoos that extensive don't get law enforcement jobs unless they are undercover meth buyers
