So I paired my geckos up one last time, was pretty confident that they wouldn't do anything at this point after trying about 6 times before. Anyway I usually try I watch them to make sure no fights happens, but this time I didn't. I put my male in the females tub. And put the back in my rack. After about 2 minutes later. I've noticed that they both were sitting next to each other for a while so I went to go check on them and noticed they were mating. Finally after a month of trying to breed them they finally locked up.

I also want to thank every one for helping me with this problem and giving me advice on what I could do.

Also should I take the male out after breeding and how long until I start to get eggs. I believe it's every 2-3 weeks they lay egg. And will my male finally eat since he mated. He did eat his she's skin and 1 mealworm.

This is the pair Bold Stripe x Mack snow

From what I have seen, the females will go "off-feed" because of ovulation...not the males..?? How long has it been since he stopped eating regularly? I would take him out and monitor his eating/fecals/etc. His job is actually done (sperm donor) until a "followup appointment" is usually recommended in about 2 weeks.

I've gotten my "first clutches" from "first-time breeders" in 24-28 days.

I’ve heard that males go off feed too because all they the think about is breeding he was in quarantine but he was and still is doing good.

This is still my first season as a hobby-breeder, so I just haven't seen the males go off-feed yet. But I guess I can remember skipping a meal or two in my day to spend time with a girl instead...hehe
