Finding Perlite and Vemiculite.

For the past couple of years I've found it harder and harder to find Perlite without fertilizer in it. So I had to find it online in bulk. Well someone just recently asked me where I find it and I had to search for it again and here's a place that carries both perlite and vermiculite.

Anyone else buy theirs in bulk? If so where from?

I got mine from Home Depot, in the garden section. The bag is huge. It should last me quite a few years. lol It has no fertilizer added, but they did have it with fertilizer also. You have to look out for that.

One of the few benifits of living in SC is that 'we' produce vermiculite. I went to the processing plant and picked up 4.0 cu ft bags for $10 each. I use the vermiculite in my square foot gardening, but scooping out a little for my geckos is no problem when I have 2 extra bags anyways.

Other than that you can also pick up large bags of pure vermiculite from pool supply companies.
