Fireworks... and geckos.

I was a little concerned for my gecko last night... once my backyard turned into a war zone, but she was perfectly fine. The fireworks... mostly mortars were so loud that I figured I come into to see a tailess gecko.

Anyone a little concerned through the 4th? Especially those that live in highly populated areas...

nothing to worry about. leos dont drop there tails that easy.

i kept a tank right above my sub woofer and he didnt seem to mind

Haha. Yeah... I know. Heck my gecko has to tolerate a toddler screaming "bye gecko" when she leaves and the latest Lupe Fiasco album.

I actually worried about that a little bit as well. People in my neighborhood are nuts with the fireworks. The whole sub actually gets a big lingering cloud of smoke that looks like fog. It's bizarre. People especially like the really loud ones (most of which are illegal in MI) that sound like bombs going off. But my 3 geckos didn't even flinch.

Oh man I was so worried about that! I didn't know what to do and didn't think about it till I heard the fireworks. My mind blanked that it was the 4th for some reason, obviously not for very long, I have my ADD moments so sue me, lol. But Merlin only poked his head out for like a minute and was like "What? Whatever..." and went right on back to sleep. I swear I think I have the laziest lizard sometimes, then he surprises me by getting out and about and having a blast!
