First Aid Kit for leos

I've been thinking of putting together a first aid kit for leos. I already have some ideas for what to put in it, but would like to know if I should put anything else in it. I also feel it might be useful for others.

So far I have and will be getting these items:
Q-tips
Mineral Oil
Eye dropper and/or syring
Can of Hills A/D pet food
Recipe for Slurry
Baby Food (squash or pumpkin)
Neosporin or something similar
Tweezers
Plastic Box to hold everything
List of vets I can contact if current vet is unavailable
Empty and clean baby food jar to store slurry
Handwarmer Packs
Premade Slurry (in the freezer of course)


Thats my list so far, anything else I should add?

Great list! What are the handwarmer packs used for? I would also add a bottle of saline as well as Reptaid (refrigerate after opening). I got a pack of a dozen disposable shot glasses at walmart for 2 bucks that have been very useful.

I've been doing something similar myself, I also added a bottle of Betadine and gauze pads. We still used triple antibiotic ointment, but the vet had given us Betadine for one of our males and it's worked wonders on his injury.

Okay, so I'll add that to my list. =]
And the handwarmer packs are for keeping the gecko warm if there's a power outage or the undertank heater fails to work. I'd still wrap it paper towel just incase the packs get too hot (though I don't think they will).

bottle of clean water in case theres a boil order or you have to go underground for an emergency

how about a kritter keeper incase you need to leave your house with the leo.

i have a kritter keeper with two smaller containers inside of it just in case i need to evacuate the lizards to the basement for a tornado warning (like i had to just about an hour ago :main_evilgrin: )

it helps to have mobile containers for them just in case

i have a human heating pad that i keep with all the deli cups my leos came in, and a 5gal, 10gal, and multiple kritter keepers so i can move them to safety too
