So here is my first trial project using styrofoam..... sorry for the excessive flash.

In this tank we don;t currently have a light, just a heat pad under the center house area :) It looks really bare, and it kinda is right now, because its a work in progress, but they have all their essentials.... water, calcium dishes, wet, hot hides etc :)

I took pointers from 'gecko mountain' and used liquid nails, the stone effect spray paint and a random sealant i had around the house.

Construction time was about 2 days, with the other 5 for painting and airing dry.

One issue i have had is that the sneaky little buggers are climbing over the top and down the back. My enigma and mack snow seem to love sleeping back there, and enjoy scaling the wall multiple times a day. Seeing as its only temporary i dont mind too much :)

When we get back from vacation im going to start building the actual set up i want to have in their tank, im aiming for a 'temple of doom' theme !!

And here is a pic of our super snow, peeping her head up as she climbs back up :p

nice, thats really creative and practical, you could attach suckion cups so it can suck close to the glass so they cant get back, or stripes of velcro but i think its awesome lots of places for an active gecko to roam and lots of hides perfect man espeacilly for multiple geckos nice

good ideas !

i had thought of double sided tape, but then i wouldn't be able to pull it out for cleaning. the velco idea is nifty!

our little girls love it, i was going to paint the top hide to look like a television, and add clear plastic to it, to make it look like gecko TV, but seeing as its only temporary i decided it would be pointless and silly lol

That's very cool. I'm about to start a styrofoam project for my 20 gallon tank. I'm kind of nervous. But the geckos are pretty easily entertained, so I'm hoping they'll be happy with whatever I turn out. Yours seem to love your structure.

Just a thought on the velcro--in the last photo it doesn't look like the back is "finished" (it is just the styrofoam??) if so the velcro will pull that apart when you remove it for cleaning? I'm not sure but it is possible

Otherwise it is AWESOME!!!

Nice, just a tip. The parts that lean down you should make a rougher so that they cant glide off easily.
