So here is my first trial project using styrofoam..... sorry for the excessive flash.
In this tank we don;t currently have a light, just a heat pad under the center house area
It looks really bare, and it kinda is right now, because its a work in progress, but they have all their essentials.... water, calcium dishes, wet, hot hides etc
I took pointers from 'gecko mountain' and used liquid nails, the stone effect spray paint and a random sealant i had around the house.
Construction time was about 2 days, with the other 5 for painting and airing dry.
One issue i have had is that the sneaky little buggers are climbing over the top and down the back. My enigma and mack snow seem to love sleeping back there, and enjoy scaling the wall multiple times a day. Seeing as its only temporary i dont mind too much
When we get back from vacation im going to start building the actual set up i want to have in their tank, im aiming for a 'temple of doom' theme !!
And here is a pic of our super snow, peeping her head up as she climbs back up
