first egg middle of floor.

Well got the first egg this morning middle of floor. I know when in doubt incubate. So its in there but i feel its a dud, being laid on middle of cage.

It may be good. Every once in awile I will have a female be picky about the moisture level in the lay box. Most of the time you can tell by looking at the egg if its bad but I have already had an infertile egg incubate for long after its due date and never go get fungus on it.

I have females who have good lay boxes, but still lay eggs on the floor sometimes (or in their water dish:main_rolleyes. They were almost always good, too.
