First Feeding

Soo,

last weekend came the first feeding from my new cornsnake.
Well- he does fine, and the dead mouse was fast
devoured!

Amazing, isn't it? Doesn't seem like they should be able to take a pinkie at that size, Im having to give mine 2 to make sure it still has a bulge after 24 hours!

It's not a good idea to feed that corn snake on wood chips. You're risking an impaction.

But Congrats on the first feeding!

I was not sure at this time.
The breeder had this corn already at the d.o.b.
in this box with this substrat. Is that in the nature not similar? (dirt and so on)

It's more the size. Plus it's not really natural. Many recommend finely shredded aspen, seems to be working for me so far. Plus he is small enough to love burrowing.
