First leo eggs

Hey guys this is my first year producing leopard geckos and so far I have over 40 eggs in the incubator but they are taking FOREVER to hatch. I've had them incubating at 79-82 degrees. Not too sure as I found out the display isn't the actual temperature but I put a thermometer in it and it reads somewhere around 80 or 81. It's one of the digital incubators from lllreptile and I'm kind of disappointed that it doesn't keep the temperature it shows since its brand new. but anyway these eggs have been incubating for like going on 12 weeks and I'm wondering if I've done something wrong or if maybe they aren't fertile. I candled them but it seems ball pythons are easier to candle then leopard gecko eggs. All I know is this is so frustrating since I have so many eggs and none have started yet.

well since you are incubating at such a low temp it can take a little bit longer for them to hatch i would even bumo the temp up to 83 it will produce almost all females and a good temp to keep at!!!

No eggs that are still yellow are no good. if they are good you should see viens or it should be red after a couple of weeks incubating. when they get close to hatching you can almost see nothing because the baby is taking up the whole egg. I would say though if it has been weeks and they are still yellow and not red then they are no good.

hope this helps

Well I only have a couple that are yellow. The ones that are in question have red veins and are red on the sides but are see through in the middle.
