the big hid has a heat pad under it and a red light above it.
Move it to the middle and put a dry hide over on the warm side. You need a dry hide on the cool side and one on the warm side, with the humid hide in the middle.the humid hide is the big one which has moss in it he mostly stays in that one.
Get rid of the red light. Contrary to popular belief, leos can see it, and it disrupts their nighttime activity. Get a ceramic heat emitter if you need more heat.heating at night i keep both heating pad and red light on.
What are the temps on the cool and warm sides?and measuring temps with a digital thermometer
That doesn't sound right at all. It needs to be at least 10 degrees cooler. If that's a 20 long like it looks like, you should be able to get it at 90+ on the warm side and easily in the high 70's on the cool.its about a 5 degree difference . about 88 on cool side give or take.
