Looking for tips and what I should look for... I have 3 hides, a drive cool cave, dry warm log and a moist hide kind of in the middle. So far his skin is coming off and looks like its splitting from the top of his back.. thats the only way I can describe it.

There is nothing that needs to be done. Just leave him alone to do his thing and check back in a few hours. Once he looks like he is finished you can check to make sure all of the shed has been removed.

Okay thanks, also it seems like his skin underneath where he has already shed a bit still looks a little dull, I can't really tell for sure since he is inside the hide, but it sure looks like it.. Is that a problem?

I take that back, I just looked again and the black bands on him are super dark and good in color, so I think he should be alright...

I've read that it usually takes no more than 3 hours for the shedding to finish?

My girlfriend noticed it about 4pm and its already 8pm and I'd say he still has about 60% or more to go.....

EDIT: He just popped out of the hide to take a peek at a cricket passing by the entrance and his new skin does infact look a bit "dirty" cant really tell with the red light.
