Well, I woke up this morning to a slight ripping sound. I knew it was from one of my scaley babies so I got up to check. My new little girl, Phoenix, was shedding in the middle of her enclosure. I was so excited. I have never seen my Roxie shed before, she is very private and efficeint. My question is how long do I wait before I help her out. She has some left around her little feet and I don't want it to hurt her. She was fine last night at about twelve and this morning I awoke at about 10 so it hasn't even been twelve hours.

If she can't seem to get it off you can let her stand it shallow pool of warm water and then try to gently peel it off or use a damp q-tip.

Wait about a day (24 hours), make sure her humid hide is still moist. If she still retains the shed on her toes after a day, I would aid in removing it. As other people stated in this thread, get a deep container and only fill with warm water enough to cover her feet..then attempt to remove the shed on her toes with a wet q-tip, if the q-tip doesn't work, gently and carefully use tweezers to remove the shed from it's toes.
