First shed...

One of my girls (Minitoast) shed today. Since it was the first shed since I picked her up last week I did the best I could to keep the humidity high enough to make it easier on her. It didn't do too bad, I have certainly seen worse, but she has some skin still around her feet areas. I know the problems that can occur if the skin cuts off the circulation around the toes, but is there anything wrong with giving her til morning so that maybe she'll clean up overnight when she's much more comfortable.. ?

Well, took a look this morning. Front 2 feet were clean, back 2 had a few pieces left over. Managed to get one completely off, the other I'm feeling good is loose enough to come off itself.. although she was quite upset at me bothering you... she gave me a stern talking to in the form of a squeak and promptly pooped on my arm..

Completely unrelated.. before this shed it looked like she had a deformed front leg (only 2 fingers, or rather 1 finger and the others fused together somehow). After her shed however she has normal toes again :)
