Only thing i can warn about after making... I think Im working on 4 right now. Make sure it will be easy to clean when done. Tight corners and little spaces that crickets get into and poop is annoying, learned that the hard way. Other than that I'm jealous looks great! Ill post mine soon when done.

That's very cool! I'd love to have one like that but I definitely don't think I am savvy enough to put something like that together. I'm sure your gecko(s) will love it!

That is so awesome, can you explain how you did it from beginning to end. It looks amazing and Id love to make one for my leo. Did you jsut use regular grout all over the styrofoam and is their a special paint you used that is safe?

Well where to start...

Materials.) 1" Polystyrene, Liquid Nails, Caulk Gun, Non-sanded Grout, paint brush, spray paint, paint sealer, knife, tape measure, straight edge.

1.) Make sure you measure how much room you have to work with your tank, you want to make sure you can easily put in and take out your masterpeice.

2.) Start cutting and glueing! I kinda just build it as I go, but not a bad idea to have an idea in your head! Use Liquid Nails (found at any hardware store) to glue the polysterene (styrofoam) together.

3.) Once you have it all pieced together make sure it will still go in and out of your tank with ease.

4.) Use non-sanded grout and put a few coats of it on your project using a paint brush (cover the WHOLE thing!) , and make sure you let it fully dry between coats and before you paint it.

5.) Paint it! I used rust oleum textered spraypaint for mine.

6.) Once your masterpeice has dried spray it over with some paint sealer. I recomend once your done to set your project out to dry out for at least a week so all the fumes and everything go away (dont want the little one geting sick...)

7.) ENJOY!!

hope that helps! :main_thumbsup:
