First off, hello to all, names Gilbert and I'm new in town =D. Ok, I have 1 male about 2 years old, I also have a female which I recently aquired. I would really love to get some babies so I was wondering if I can just place the single female with the male and monitor the activites closely, soon as they get done mating seperate? I've read many topics on breeding and it seems its always 1 male to multiple females but seeing as I've only got 1 female would this method work? If so, any tips? suggestions? Thanks in advance!

That plan will definately work! That's what we do, and we've got more hatchlings... wow. Anyway, put them together, they should "go about thier business" in a few minutes, and when he's cleaning himself you can put the female back in her house. I would do this when her eggs are pink (they should be visible through her stomach) and I would also do this twice or so (basically, more than one) when her eggs are pink, and then the day after she lays her clutch. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I do the same thing. All my geckos are keept alone. so I just watch and when they are done I put the male back in his tub. If They are not doing anything I will leave him in her tub overnight as long as they seem to be getting along. and I'll take him out in the morning and just hope they did the deed. sometimes they won't do it when i'm watching. lol
