Hi just asking as I'm not sure, but i've had 6 good eggs from one of my girls (first year breeding). She's approx. 4 years old and weighed 78g pre laying, she's a little under that now but slowly getting back to weight, 4 of the eggs have now 'hatched' but only one of the babies have actually made it out the egg.. the others have all died in the egg after slitting it the baby that has survived, is as best I can describe it a runt, so much smaller than all the others that have hatched and looks generally really fragile but she's now eating which is something!
I was just wondering if it could have anything to do with it being the females first year? Really reluctant to chance breeding her again in the future as its heartbreaking tbh, I've got everything crossed for the 2 that are cooking
Many thanks
