First time gecko owner

Hello everyone, I'm a first time owner of a baby leopard gecko. Had her about a week now. I was initially housing my gecko and my girlfriends in a 10 gallon but recently the other has moved into its own tank at the ladys. There are a few pics of the little guys attached. It been a learning experience so far and I love having them even tho I am still not 100% on the sexes, i think girls. This site has really helped me along the way. I am even thinking about starting a roach colony to feed both of them. Just about to go through my first shedding. The challenge I face now is not only the shedding but also getting my gecko to try mealworms. Wish me luck.

I'd say off the mulch stuff =s. Use paper towels or newspaper. Its safer and easier to clean. lose substrate is a no no lol.

I would not house on mulch either. I use paper towels, repti carpet and tile in my tanks.

I have switched actually. im now on reptile carpet. They were only on mulch for a day or two before i realized the problems of that stuff. Still learning i guess
