Err pretty sure he's a standard leopard gecko, he's just a particularly pretty boy...I'm kinda sure haha

Looks good to me. =) And yes, I would call high yellow abbarent. That just means that he is a brighter yellow than wild types and has broken body pattern. But genetically, he is a wild type (normal).

He's 6 months old, not sure if he's big or small or just right for his age?

He looks like he's a good size. You can expect more growth and more changes in his pattern if he is only 6 months. He will probably be fairly large (as many males are).
