Finally got my first clutch! I was not expecting to get eggs so soon, but when conditions are kept ideal you get results! They know what they are doing.

Male: Powder Blue 50% poss het Leucistic (proven line)
Female: DBL Het Powder Blue Leucistic (proven line)

If the male is carrying the Luesistic gene, then this would make it a worlds first pairing. Morgan Weiss, the breeder who produced these geckos, has already produced a "Calico/Leucistic" thing from DBL het. x DBL het. If my male Powder Blue proves, it would be totally awesome to see how and if the Leucistic gene interacts with the Powder Blue gene.

I am VERY aware of my odds and the time it may take to see if any offspring Powder Blue or not are Leucistic. These Tokays are a pet project, I plan to keep 90% of what I prodcue from them. You know what they always say...Tokays are like a box of chocaltes... lol

Even if the male isnt het. Lucy which I know will take a while to figure out, its fun to know I have Leucistic gene floating around in the collection. All babies from this pairing will be at the minimum 100% het. Powder Blue 50% het. Luecistic.

Gotta' love Tokays! :main_thumbsup:

Awesome! I've always wondered, being the eggs stick, how do you take them off without harming them to put them in the incubator?

They do not need to be removed, like it was said already... momma knows best! She lays them where temps are right... The parents (both mom and dad) will also cover the eggs and heat them up if needed!... Tokays are very smart and fun to watch and breed... They are a a pleasure to work with.
