i woke up this mornig to find a baby running around the incubator, and when i went to remove the egg shell, i relized there was another in there. I opened the egg to find another deformed baby:( Now the one that survived is like hlf the size of any of my other hatchlings, my question is wht do i feed it? day old crix or is there something better? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We had a preemie who was quite small. She took a little bit longer to feed. She did ok with some small crickets. I usually order 1/2 in, but some are always a little smaller. These were the ones I fed to her. I also supplemented by giving her a little bit of repta-aid to give her some moisture and protein because she needed the extra boost. It took a lot out of her to hunt at first, but she started doing well within a week. Now she is a regular little piggy. Good luck.

I have hand fed some of my smaller albinos that hatched. What I do is hold the 1/4inch cricket by the back legs and put it in the mouth of the baby when it opens its mouth. This has worked very well for me. gl
